This review may be a bit bias, as I am a huge fan of MinaaI, The Daily was the first backpack I purchased many years ago and it the only travel backpack I use now. I do my fair share of traveling and the Daily goes with me on all my trips. It's a great backpack that fits everything. The material and design is by far top if its class, from the rain cover the the whistle on the buckle, Jimmy and his teams thought of everything. If you are looking for a Daily backpack or travel backpack, buy the Daily!

I'm a full time student in college and also work part time. So, I don't normally have loads of time to travel so what I was looking for was a bag that would be easy to throw around, be able to carry my laptop and books, be durable, all while being able to look clean and sophisticated while going to classes at a good price. This bag without a doubt checks all of those boxes and more. Firstly, the bag is a tad bit smaller than most average bags, but holds just as much if not more. I have been able to fit a sweater, my books, my laptop, my water bottle, pens and pencils, headphones, in the bag and although it puffs out it still is small and easy to carry, my one complaint here is that I wish the back padding was just a touch more comfortable. Secondly, I've had this bag for a year now and this bag is an actual tank. I go through the rain, snow, dry heat all within a year and this thing just doesn't scratch. The bag still looks brand new and I still haven't even needed to use the water cover that's attached to the bag because the bag itself is stupid durable and keeps water out like a charm. Lastly, this bag is simply beautiful. Anytime I want to say minimal I almost always end up saying Minaal because of how sleek yet stunning this bag is. The clean exterior to the ability to organize and hold everything you need on the interior blows me away everytime I grab the strap and put it on my back. I am a college student so I wanted a bag that could last a long time and take a beating all while being able to carry all of my daily school supplies in a simple yet stunning bag at a premium price, the Minaal Daily Carry 2.0 easily my favorite bag I have ever owned and I can guarantee anyone who ends up owning this bag will feel the same because you can recognize the love and care that went into designing this bag the moment you put it on your back.

I finally pulled the trigger on the Daily after some months of heavy consideration, I was glad I finally did!
Just the right size for an EDC with thoughtful features and reliable quality materials.
It is my daily driver now and I couldn't be happier.

I purchased both the Daily and Carry On 2.0 about 7 years ago.
The Carry On 2.0 is a fantastic bag that I use for longer trips, or weekend trips if I don't want to bring a roller bag. It is incredibly spacious, very well designed and thought out. The pockets and organization are everything I need.
I use the Daily more often because it is smaller but still has the capacity I need when travelling. It has the same excellent organization and detail as the Carry On 2.0. The Daily easily fits beneath the seat in front of me on any airplane. In almost every respect, the bag has held up great and is as good as new.
I am writing this review now because the zipper on my Daily broke in half last month while travelling. It was not a big deal because the other zipper allowed me to open and close that compartment. I contacted Minaal and they directed me to a local store to try and repair the zipper. When I contacted Minaal to let them know the zipper couldn't be repaired in my city they offered to send me a new bag, which arrived in less than 2 weeks. I have never experienced such dedicated, thoughtful and hassle-free service from any company. If I ever need another travel bag, Minaal will be my first choice.

I bought my daily (and a carry-on 2.0) back in 2015, when it was still a Kickstarter campaign. Originally purchased for travel purposes, but over the years, it has become my EDC. I work in architecture, and I like the clean look of it. Overall both bags have held up beautifully over the years, and I love the rain cover (has saved me multiple times when caught in a sudden downpour). My complaints (after 8+ years) are: (1) the fabric endlessly collects lint from my carpet (I have the grey color, not sure if the black is any better), (2) the interior water bottle holder is useless (would rather it removeable or not at all), (3) the little elastic bands to keep the straps from dangling are a PITA to reset anytime you adjust the straps, and aren't great at keeping the straps in place to begin with (and I think it originally had a chest strap one...? If so, it's long gone), (4) the chest strap needs to slide up higher to properly fit on my chest (I'm a small frame person), and (5) I have never used any of the little compartments inside the back part (would rather just have that part solid to reduce bulk--though, admittedly, I have rarely used it in the landscape/briefcase configuration, so YMMV).
I think those are minor things I can live with though, so I'll rate it a solid 4/5.

We travel with two dogs and two preteens. Lugging around luggage is not always possible. So, everyone has a Minaal backpack travel bag. The daily travel bag is the perfect size for kids. It frees up our hands to hold dog leashes and other necessary items, and to open doors. I was an original Kickstarter backer, and have travelled exclusively with Minaal bags ever since. I’ll never go back to luggage.
