MOVERS & MAKERS 2018
Seyi & Seun Abollaji
Wilson's Juice Co
With just 2,000 naira (roughly $5) and an idea, Seyi and Seun Abollaji turned a two-week vacation to Nigeria into a successful beverage company.
They started by going dorm room to dorm room at Covenant University selling lemonade, but as word of their naturally-sweetened fruit drinks spread, they realized that no one was bottling real fruit juice for sale in Nigeria.
After their humble beginnings in 2010, Wilson's Lemonade now employs an 80% female workforce of 30 employees who produce 24,000 bottles of healthy, not-from-concentrate juices per day. While they're currently focused on saturating Lagos and the Nigerian market, they have global ambitions for the Wilson's brand.
